Olive Trump is a print and sock designer based in Portland, Oregon. She received her BFA in Fibers from the University of Oregon College of Design. In school, she cultivated her passion for relief printmaking, textile printing, weaving, and sewing. During her time textile printing, she began exploring the art of repeat pattern design through both screen and block printing techniques.
Today, Olive’s work often blends traditional and contemporary media.
As a sock designer, Olive draws from her background in fiber arts to create functional, expressive designs.
Outside of her design practice, Olive is a lifelong equestrian. Her love to horses and the nature frequently informs the themes and textures in her work.
