Olive Trump is a print and sock designer based in New York City.
She received her BFA in Fiber Arts from the University of Oregon College of Design where she cultivated her passion for textile printing, weaving, and sewing. Through exploration of hand printing repeat patterns through screen and relief printmaking techniques alongside weaving and sewing, grew a love and understanding for soft goods and apparel.
Today, Olive’s work often blends traditional and contemporary techniques.
As a sock designer, Olive draws from her background in fiber arts to create functional and expressive designs.
Outside of her design practice, Olive is a lifelong equestrian. Her love to horses and the nature frequently informs the themes, palettes, and textures in her work.
